Senior Does
These are NOT the best pictures of our girls! Even when they were all shaved and spruced up, we still couldn't get good pictures since flat land on our little hilly property is hard to come by, hence the crazy angles on the pictures of Mae and Georgia! We'll get it together in the spring when the girls are all shaved up again!

Georgia is a really pretty doe, with a long, level back, a nice flat rump, tight little toes and, most importantly, a lovely, soft, well-attached udder with good-sized teats. She's easy to milk and an excellent mother, affectionate when she's pregnant and absolutely a snot to the other does even though she's the smallest of the seniors!
Her first freshening udder is shown to the right. |

We LOVE Mae! She is the sweetest doe you could ever meet. This picture doesn't do her justice (the milkstand tilts down in front, pushing her rump up), but she has a topline that's just table-top flat, loose-pliable skin and a coat with a natural sheen like she's been polished (you can see the shine in the bad photo!). She's a very productive milker but does't have great attachments (side or MSL). We're hoping the Montego Bay genetics in Caesar will improve the udders on her daughters. |

Six Shooter Farm Cleopatra DOB: 5-12-2008 Sire: Sweetbriar Cottage Romeo *S SS: PromisedLand Night Rider *S SD: Sugar Creeks MT Nat 5*D AR1708
Dam: Shooting Star Lola DS: Mystiques Jackson E DD: Goodwood KW Hoola Hoop Kiddings: 2009, 1 doe, 1 buck 2010, 2 does, 1 buck
Cleo is a lovely, feminine, very refined doe but, like Mae, her MSL isn't the strongest and she's also a bit short-bodied. We're looking forward to seeing her 2010 kids to see whether Caesar added any stretch and/or improved udder attachments.
Right is her first-freshening udder as a yearling.
